Cheese Latkes Recipe

Cheese Latkes Ingredients:

  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 1 ½ cup flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 5 teaspoons of sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla essence
  • ½ cup oil for frying

Cheesy Latkes Preparation

Mix all the ingredients except the oil, in a bowl, until you achieve a compact dough.
Heat ½ cup oil in a deep fryer. Fill a large spoon with the batter and fry for 2 or 3 minutes on each side, until golden brown. Continue until all the mixture is finished, adding oil if necessary.
You can accompany the latkes with cream, applesauce or whatever sauce you like best.
