Recently, the Aleph Kosher team had the honor of visiting the facilities of Piladora Santa Rosa, a company that is setting a milestone in Ecuador’s food industry. Currently in the process of obtaining kosher certification, this rice mill is set to become the first in its sector to export kosher-certified Ecuadorian rice worldwide, with a strong commitment to quality, cutting-edge technology, and excellence at every stage of production.
During our visit, we witnessed the company’s dedication not only to meeting kosher standards but also to enhancing its internal processes in order to raise its international competitiveness. Ecuadorian rice, cultivated and processed by Piladora Santa Rosa, is on its way to reaching new markets, and we are convinced it will leave a lasting impression for its flavor and quality.
We would like to especially highlight the warmth and hospitality shown by the Santa Rosa team towards our Aleph Kosher staff, particularly towards our supervising rabbi. From the very beginning, we were welcomed with exceptional attention that reflected not only professionalism but also an invaluable human side. As a thoughtful gesture, the Santa Rosa team surprised our supervisor with kosher food from the restaurant Pita Grill, which allowed us to share a special moment beyond the technical work. It was a reminder that behind every great company there are committed, kind, and respectful people, capable of building bridges between cultures and traditions.
