In a significant event for the academic community, the University of Córdoba in Colombia hosted Rabbi Asher Cacua, Supervisor of Aleph Kosher, to give a talk on kosher certification and its profound impact on integrated quality systems and food science. The lecture, aimed at professors and students in the 8th and 9th semesters of the Food Industry Quality Management Diploma program, provided future professionals with a unique perspective on the relevance of kosher certification in the food industry.
The purpose of the talk was to offer these students—who are about to graduate or are already working in companies—a direct understanding of one of the most prestigious and relevant certifications in the food sector. Learning about the kosher certification process not only enriches their professional training, but also enables them to advise companies more effectively, strengthening their ability to manage quality and processes within the food industry.
Rabbi Cacua expressed his satisfaction in sharing his experience and knowledge with this group of students, who are the future of food engineering in Colombia. He also expressed enthusiasm about the possibility of meeting these young professionals again in factories across the country, managing kosher certification processes and contributing to the growth of the food industry.
This lecture represents a great opportunity to raise awareness and educate future leaders of the food industry on the importance of kosher certification, an element that continues to gain relevance in both national and international markets. The direct connection with these students will allow them to face new challenges in their professional careers with a more comprehensive and specialized approach.
